The aim of the text is to present Volume 2, Number 2 of the January-June 2022 edition of Multiverso Journal and, at the same time, to discuss the repercussions of the configuration of metaverses and multiverses in the present global reality. It is concluded that the theory of multiverses originated in theoretical physics and cosmology acquires a notable impact on the current configuration of metaverses, that is, in virtual spaces where the people who participate can develop a set of recreational and work activities that will undoubtedly deploy alternative worlds limited only by the creative capacity of their creators and the technological resources at
their disposal, so, the new universes that will determine for better or for worse the near future of humanity will be experienced as parallel intersubjective realities, capable of blurring our traditional notion of reality.
