Crossmark Policy

Multiverso Journal participates in Crossmark, the Crossref service that allows readers to check whether an article is the current version. Clicking the Crossmark button on an article shows whether the document has corrections, expressions of concern or retractions.

The policy applies to everything the journal publishes: research articles, editorials and reviews.

Types of update: correction (errors that affect reading or interpretation but do not invalidate the work); expression of concern (while a possible problem is being investigated); retraction (serious errors or misconduct, such as plagiarism or data falsification).

Each update is published as a separate document, linked to the original article, and registered with Crossref. The original article remains accessible and, if retracted, is marked “Retracted”. The procedure is described in Ethics and Good Practice.
