Anti-Plagiarism Policy of Multiverso Journal
Multiverso Journal is firmly committed to academic excellence and integrity in research. As part of our editorial process, we adopt a rigorous stance against plagiarism and any form of academic misconduct. To ensure that all published content is original and reliable, we have established the following policy.
Definition of Plagiarism
Plagiarism is defined as presenting someone else's work, ideas, words, images, or creations as one's own, without proper acknowledgment or citation. This includes direct copying, inadequate paraphrasing, the use of ideas without attribution, and the use of fabricated citations or unverifiable sources.
Prevention and Detection
To prevent and detect plagiarism, the journal uses Turnitin Similarity Check by Crossref. Each manuscript submitted undergoes a similarity check, which includes a detailed analysis of references and published documents. If matches exceeding 20% are detected, the manuscript is subjected to a thorough evaluation by the editorial team to determine the nature and severity of the similarities.
This process ensures the originality of all manuscripts and helps identify both direct plagiarism and improper citation practices.
Commitment to Originality
We require all authors to be directly responsible for the originality of their work. They must ensure that all sources used are properly cited and obtain necessary permissions for any copyrighted material.
Procedure for Detected Plagiarism
If plagiarism or a violation of copyright is confirmed, Multiverso Journal will take measures proportional to the severity of the violation. These may include:
-
Requesting significant corrections in cases of minor citation issues.
-
Immediate rejection of the manuscript.
-
Temporary or permanent prohibition of the authors from publishing in our journal in cases of serious breaches of editorial ethics.
Early detection of these issues protects the scientific community from the repercussions of plagiarism and maintains the high standards of academic literature.
