This theoretical essay analyzes the pedagogical potential of mobile applications as mediating tools for the development of Howard Gardner’s multiple intelligences in Venezuelan higher education. The central objective is to construct a coherent argument linking mobile learning, multiple intelligences, and social constructivism as complementary theoretical frameworks. The methodology adopted is documentary-theoretical, involving a review of indexed literature. As a key finding, the study presents a curated catalog of twenty-four verified mobile applications available in Venezuela in 2026, organized by type of intelligence. It is concluded that the integration of mobile technology and cognitive diversity represents a theoretically sound approach to personalizing and democratizing Venezuelan higher education. Furthermore, the collection of local empirical evidence is crucial for research in higher education in Venezuela to actively participate in the indexed international academic agenda. This essay does not argue that mobile applications are the answer to the structural problems of higher education in Venezuela; rather, it argues, on a firm theoretical foundation, that they constitute a valid, accessible, and contextually relevant pedagogical contribution to the development of a higher education system that is more inclusive and aligned with the real-life circumstances of its participants.
