The categories of crisis and consensus are common to the domains of historical, political and socio-economic realities, however, their scope and meaning must always be analyzed in the heat of events, as a condition of possibility to be able to examine, in their right dimension, the main crises that ontologically define the true identity of the current world order in the political and economic spheres. In this sense, the purpose of this brief text was twofold: on the one hand, it attempted to discuss in prospective terms the current state and possible outcomes of factors such as: the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the financial crisis of 2023, the geopolitical position of China and the new ideological agendas of counter-hegemonic groups: LGBT+ community, women, animal and environmentalists, among others. On the other hand, we present the research papers of this new issue corresponding to the edition of Volume 03, number 04 of Multiverse Journal. Everything allows us to conclude that crises are not only disruptive factors in the historical movement of human societies that inexorably end in collective stages of decline, they can also be opportunities for the creation of renewed consensus among the actors of power, leading to the construction of different realities and dynamics.
